College View Community Center

The College View Community Center (CVCC) is located along South Federal Boulevard (near Federal and Evans) in Denver, Colorado. Currently CVCC has an average of 3,100 uses per month, with over 1,200 of those users ranging between 5 and 18 years old. There are 2,305 members of the CVCC, almost all of whom live walking distance from the facility. Our staff recruit new members and encourage regular participation by building relationships with surrounding schools, churches, and community organizations. Additionally, the community and current program participants play a vital role in program development and evaluation, which in turn is a primary reason the Center’s success.

As of January 2014, the College View Community Center offers the following recreational programs: zumba fitness classes, square dancing, tae-kwon-do, seniors lunch, bridge club, seniors bingo, computer classes, women’s volleyball, teen night, basketball open gym, weight room, cardio room, and group activities such as ping-pong and pool.   In addition to the recreational programs, CVCC also offers an Out-of-School-Time (OST) program for middle schoolers, a Seniors program for the elderly, DAD-UP (a fatherhood program), and holiday events.  For a complete list of events and activities please click here.College View
