Loneliness is a health epidemic, especially among our city’s low income older adults

Denver Inner City Parish provides encouragement, engagement and education to our neighbors 60+ who are in need.

I love the classes they have at the parish. We are learning art, and now I do art at home for fun. I’ve never been an artist, I’ve never done any art before, but I like it a lot.

I used to feel down and depressed before coming to the seniors program, my health wasn’t good either. Now I feel so much better, I’m not depressed anymore!

I love the field trips, the scenic drives are beautiful, its so nice to sit and relax and just look at things in the mountains, I would never drive that myself!
