Support DICP
With Your Donations Volunteering Event Attendance We Can Crush the Cycle of Poverty for Denver Residents.
How You Can Help
There are 5 main ways to help Denver Inner City Parish provide healthy and nutritious meals, educational classes for families and seniors, cut the red tape of applying for benefits and guide our newly arrived neighbors to establish roots in Denver.
Large or small, or medium sized donations. At present 12% of our donations come from individuals while 2% comes from businesses. You may even be lucky enough to work at a company that matches donations (check this list). The leanest times of year are the summer months if you want to make sure your donation has a lot of IMPACT.
While we are not equipped to store large donations like furniture and winter clothes and blankets, we are always accepting donations of non-perishable food, diapers, formula, wipes and hygiene items. To purchase specific items to be shipped to us, find our Amazon gift list link on the In-kind page below.
Our dedicated volunteers have sustained our programs through multiple decades and even throughout bloodlines. Many of our program participants return to DICP as volunteers and are an integral link between our mission and making great things happen. Volunteers can specify a program choice, or even to work at a particular event.
We host events throughout the year and your ticket cost helps us bring in another stream of revenue and build our community at the same time. We love to host past, present and maybe even future volunteers and anyone who wants to know more about DICP.
Our partnerships mean we can reach more community members with resources and education than we ever could alone. Partnering with DICP creates new pathways for the larger Denver Metro community to find out about your programs and services.
